September 2 Graduation!
We are excited to celebrate our FARMACY Rx Produce Prescription Program graduates. In partnership with Family Health Care, the Pure Markette runs one of Michigan’s most impactful Food is Medicine programs for Lake and Newaygo adults experiencing food insecurities and chronic health conditions. Eligible patients commit to attending weekly classes, demos, and programs at the Markette to earn vouchers to redeem for fresh fruits and vegetables. In doing so, healthy behaviors are reinforced and patients make strides toward their wellness goals. Graduates completed a minimum of 8 weeks this summer! This program is underwritten by grants from Lake-Osceola State Bank and District Health Department #10.

Parking
There is plenty of parking in the lots north and south of the Pure Markette with easy access off Seventh or Eighth Street in downtown Baldwin. Parking also is available along M-37/Michigan Avenue with a paved walkway to the Markette between Jone’s Homemade Ice Cream and the Baldwin Business Center.
Biking/Hiking
We love our trails! The Pere Markette State Trail is ¼ mile north of the Markette and runs east to Idlewild and Reed City.
